Hosting 100+ for Fellowship after Church

This past week, an invitation to one family turned into about 100+ people who will be visiting with us on Sunday from our church and some out-of-town guests who have their own base access. Thankfully, we found a retired veteran who has inexpensive table and chair rentals, and those tables and chairs will help us immensely! We’re almost done sweeping and washing out the porches and making arrangements inside our house in case it rains. Last Sunday, we hosted 50+ here!

If you’re from the church and didn’t get an invite, we’ve been working through the list every Sunday we are well and have help with passes. As others who are sick have cancelled, we’ve asked others if they could come. We’re trying to make the most of our time here in Florida before the Navy moves us to Texas, Lord willing, eight weeks from now. If we don’t get everyone over, at least we have our church fellowship times too.
