New Children's Book Project Sneak Peek
Here is a sneak peek of a special book project for us! Almost five years ago, I (Franicia) finished writing another children’s book. It was done before the Chattanooga terrorist attack at Tim’s work. Many dear friends and family knew that horrific event changed our lives in a number of ways. When things settled down a little and to provide some normalcy, Heistheway tried to help me out then in a joint collaboration to illustrate this new book with me. We moved to Pensacola, lost some important drawings, and had to start all over again.
In God’s timing, we’re finishing the book now. Heistheway’s learned a lot about digitally illustrating since then and even won her first design competition here in El Paso. She decided to tackle the whole book’s artwork instead of us splitting up the task, and it’s turning out beautifully!
Lord willing, we’re planning on printing the draft for this book by May and publishing it soon. We’re excited to introduce this new alphabet book to you very soon! It has a fun rhyme and teaches some challenging words for parents who like that extra something for their children! Leave a comment below and tag a friend for a chance to win a draft copy of the book --- something we’ve never given away before!
